Saint Peter’s is rebuilding after their terrific run at the 2022 NCAA Tournament. Since then, they’ve struggled to a 9-12 mark and have dropped six of their last seven. The Peacocks are a terrible shooting squad from everywhere on the floor and, as a result, are 353rd in scoring. Saint Peter’s plays solid defense and ranks 40th in points allowed per game.
Rider is a game behind Sienna in the MAAC standings and is riding a five-game winning streak. The Broncs are an inside-the-arc team and rarely shoot the ball from downtown but are below-average shooters from inside the arc. Rider is 221st in scoring the basketball and 120th in the nation in points allowed.
The best bet for this game is Rider -7. The Peacocks are 3-8 ATS as the away team, and they aren’t a good basketball team at all. Saint Peters has played a more manageable conference schedule, and maybe they are worse than their record. They will play defense, but the Broncs have a considerable advantage in experience and length, and they will beat the Peacocks inside and cover the spread.

Cornell Big Red vs. Princeton Tigers 7:00 pm
There’s nothing better than Friday night Ivy League action in New Jersey, and we have the top two schools playing when the Cornell Big Red meet the Princeton Tigers at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Cornell is 15-5 and 5-2 in conference play and enters this contest looking to extend a one-game winning streak. The Big Red boasts a top-5 effective field goal percentage and is top-50 shooting the ball inside or outside the arc.
Cornell has a low turnover percentage, with the country’s 7th best assist to turnover percentage. The Big Red isn’t a good defensive side and allows the 307th most points per game in the nation.
Princeton is off to a 14-6 start and 5-2 in Ivy League play, hoping to end a one-game losing streak. The Tigers shoot it exceptionally well inside the arc, but they play a slow tempo and shoot the ball late in the clock. Princeton is 125th in assist-to-turnover ratio, but unlike Cornell, the Tigers play decent defense and allow the 96th fewest points in the nation.
The best bet for this contest is Cornell +3. The Big Red have an explosive offense, and while there is much to like about the Tigers’ defense, Cornell has one of the deepest benches in the nation. While they will struggle to keep Princeton off the scoreboard, the Big Red is a good enough shooting team to go toe to toe with the Tigers and cover against a Tigers side with a 1-5 ATS record at Jadwin Gymnasium.
