Newly acquired Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley knocked down a pair of triples Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers and immediately proved why the Raptors were willing to trade for him.
The former New York Knicks guard is draining 2.1 triples per night on 39.5% shooting and cleared this prop mark in his last two with the Knicks before being traded to Toronto this past Saturday. Memphis boasts one of the worst three-point shooting defenses in the league and allows an above-average amount of fantasy points to shooting guards.
This should be a close, fast-paced game, and I look for Quickley to drain three triples tonight. Take the Over 2.5 made three-pointers at bet365 NJ.
Fred VanVleet prop: Over 18.5 points (-109) at BetRivers
Houston Rockets point guard Fred VanVleet has a terrific matchup tonight against the defensively challenged Brooklyn Nets. The Nets allow a ton of points this season to point guards, and tonight has a big scoring night written all over it.
VanVleet has jacked up 18 triples over his last two nights but has cleared this mark once over his previous five. Still, the Rockets point guard is shooting more and averages 17 points per game at Toyota Center. I like this prop at BetRivers NJ because the Rockets are starting to pick up the pace, the Nets play horrendous perimeter defense, and VanVleet chucking away from downtown as often as he’s been will land his scoring prop.
Jalen Brunson prop: Over 2.5 made three points (+110) at DraftKings
Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks have a terrific matchup tonight against an injury-riddle Chicago Bulls side playing their second game in as many nights.
Brunson has been mired in a shooting slump from downtown and has cleared this shooting prop just once in his last five. The Knicks guard went 1-11 from beyond the arc in his previous home start against Minnesota, but that was well below his season average of 2.6 made triples per night at Madison Square Garden.
The Bulls play mediocre perimeter defense and the fourth-most fantasy points per game to point guards. Look for Brunson to fire away tonight and clear his prop at DraftKings NJ.
