Saturday features a pair of contests with totals of 48 points or more, and several prop betting options are available for both games.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs 4:30 pm
The Jaguars-Chiefs’ 52.5 total is the highest on the Saturday slate. The weather forecast calls for snowy conditions, but these offenses have enough weapons to exceed the oddsmakers’ total.
Travis Kelce anytime TD -135 (BetMGM)
Kelce and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes have hooked up for 11 playoff TDs since 2018. The pair connected for 1338 receiving yards and a dozen TDs this season – Kelce hasn’t found the end zone in his past six games, but the Chiefs are going to find a way to get their best offensive weapon into the end zone.
Jacksonville has the worst passing defense in the playoffs, and they’ll have difficulty dealing with this prolific playoff tandem Saturday afternoon.
Trevor Lawrence Over 1.5 TD passes -110 (FanDuel)
Lawrence is coming off a four-TD game, slung two TD passes or more in eight of his 17 games, and has a great matchup against a Chiefs defense, allowing the most TD receptions per contest (1.9).
Jacksonville is a 2nd half team–Lawrence might be looking up at the scoreboard, and if he has to throw his way out of a mess, he has solid weapons at his disposal and a friendly matchup to exceed the oddsmakers’ number.
Christian Kirk anytime TD scorer +195 (FanDuel)
Kirk has scored a TD in each of his last two matchups, and if Lawrence is going to throw at least two TDs, then Kirk is likely to haul in one of those passes.
The Jags receiver has a team-high eight TD receptions this season and meets a welcoming Chiefs secondary allowing the 2nd most TDs to the WR position. Kirk has been targeted 41 times over the past five and should see enough volume to find the end zone Saturday.
New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles 4:30 pm
This contest features a 48.5 total, and we have three of the best props available for this NFC Divisional Round matchup. For the best odds on this game, have a look at our comparison of NJ betting apps.
Jalen Hurts Under 1.5 TD Passes +125 (FanDuel)
Hurts hasn’t thrown a TD pass in his last two starts, and the Eagles’ signal-caller probably won’t exceed the oddsmakers’ number against a Giants passing defense, allowing 1.3 TD receptions per contest.
Hurts did throw a pair of scoring strikes in his first meeting with New York, but the Eagles QB has recorded less than two TDs in seven of his 15 matchups, has a bum shoulder, and +125 (FanDuel) is a reasonable price for this prop.
Daniel Jones Over 42.5 rushing yards -114 (FanDuel)
Jones had a big passing day against the Vikings, but if the Giants are to cover the +7.5 spread, Jones will likely need to rush the ball against the league’s top passing defense. Jones has scampered for 43 yards or more in six of his 18 games this season and faces a Philly defense allowing a 4th worst 23 rushing yards to QBs.
The Eagles led the league with 70 sacks–the Giants allowed three last week, 49 on the season, and we could see Jones running for his life and picking up a pile of yards Saturday.
Saquan Barkley anytime TD +100 (FanDuel)
Barkley has scored four TDs over the past five, and he’s a good bet to find the end zone on Saturday. Barkley is a three-down back and played in 90% of the Giants’ snaps against Minnesota.
The Giants will want their best offensive player in the end zone–Barkley rushed for 28 yards in his last meeting with Philly, but the Giants RB is red hot and should find the end zone against an Eagles defense, allowing nearly a rushing TD per game to running backs.
