Meanwhile, New York has won two straight and would love to spoil any potential playoff hopes the Packers have with a big win tonight. Here are the best bets for tonight’s Packers vs. Giants matchup.
Packers -6 (-108) at BetRivers New Jersey
Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been on fire, and as a result, the Packers have won three straight, and he’s thrown eight scoring strikes without an interception over those wins. Green Bay wideout Christian Watson has been ruled out, but the Packers have enough weapons to score enough points to cover against a New York defense, allowing 18.6 points per game at home.
The Giants offense has been a mess. Backup quarterback Tommy DeVito has been decent, but he isn’t as good as injured quarterback Daniel Jones, nor does he have any real weapons other than running back Saquan Barkley. Green Bay has surrendered 21+ points per game away from Lambeau Field over their last two away games, but the Packers need this one, and I expect them to cover the -6 (108) at BetRivers.
Saquan Barkley Over 17.5 receiving yards (-110) at bet365 New Jersey
This receiving prop is much too low for this matchup. Barkley has cleared this number twice in his last five but averages six yards per reception. The game script calls for the Giants to throw the ball, and the Packers allow nearly 30 receiving yards per game to running backs. Look for Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito to throw the football more often than he typically does, and Barkley should be the beneficiary.
Saquan Barkley Over 3.5 receptions (+120) at bet365 New Jersey
This bet is based on the same idea as Barkley’s receiving yards prop. DeVito will need to throw the football tonight, and his star running back is one of the top-grade receivers out of the backfield in the NFL. He’ll have plenty of opportunities to exceed this prop against a Packers defense ranked last in linebackers pass-rushing. This is a reasonable price for this receiving prop at bet365 New Jersey.
Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins
Tennessee has dropped four of its last five, including a Week 13 overtime home loss to Indianapolis. Miami is riding a three-game winning streak and a -14-point favorite to win this matchup. Here are my best bets for tonight’s Titans vs. Dolphins matchup.
Derrick Henry, anytime touchdown (+150) at FanDuel New Jersey
This is a big spread, but Titans running back Derrick Henry should see enough action to find the endzone early in this game. He’s coming off consecutive multiple-touchdown games and faces a Miami defense allowing the 18th-most rushing TDs per game. Look for the Titans to deploy Henry often in the first half, and if they do, the Titans star running back should find the endzone.
Tyjae Spears Under 20.5 rushing yards (-113) at FanDuel New Jersey
Tennessee backup running back Tyjae Spears has a prop number that is one yard more than the rest of our New Jersey sportsbooks. He’s cleared 20.5 rushing yards only once in his past five, and that was because the game was close, and it went into overtime. This game could be over by halftime, and it doesn’t look good for Spears to get enough rushing attempts to eclipse 20.5 rushing yards.
