About Caesars AC in New Jersey

Caesars AC Hotel & Casino is a celebrated luxury hotel in New Jersey that holds a rich history. This hotel and casino, inspired by ancient Greek and Roman themes, draws tourists worldwide. Located at 2100 Pacific Avenue, the hotel began its journey over four decades ago as Howard Johnson's Regency Motor Hotel.

It was then acquired by Caesars in 1977 and underwent renovations until 1979, becoming the second casino to open in New Jersey.

In 1985, the Circus Maximus Showroom was expanded to accommodate an additional 1100 seats. This renowned showroom has hosted legends like Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Mary J. Blige, Liza Minnelli, and more. By 1987, the establishment was renamed Caesars Atlantic City.

Following renovations that lasted until 2008, the hotel embraced a comprehensive Roman-themed design inside and out.

In October 2017, Vici Properties acquired the property in a corporate spin-off, leading to its lease back to Caesars Entertainment. By 2020, the Bally's Wild Wild West casino merged with Caesars property, introducing more slot machines and table games.

This integration also featured a sports betting zone, private party spaces, an entertainment section, a Boardwalk entry, and a bar. The Wild Wild West Casino briefly closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, Caesars AC Hotel & Casino underwent refurbishments, introducing upgraded baths, a spa, Bellezza Salon, an outdoor pool, and additional amenities.
